The Racing Beat polished dual outlet canister is equipped with stainless steel inlet and outlet pipes for superior durability under even the harshest conditions. Exclusive cast-stainless steel flanges mate the the muffler inlet pipe to the connecting pipe section, ensuring excellent gas sealing qualities. The dual exhaust tips are manufactured using highly polished 304-stainless steel and are slightly oval in shape to provide a perfect balance and proportional look for the Miata’s rear bumper. Each tip features a etched Racing Beat logo to add the finishing touch!

1996-97 Miata Sport Connecting Pipe
Each Power Pulse exhaust system comes complete with a non-resonated, fully stainless steel connecting pipe section which mates the muffler section to the outlet of the catalytic converter unit. The connecting pipe for the 1996-97 Miata includes a mounting position for the ODB-II required oxygen sensor.
Installation
Each Power Pulse Miata Dual Exhaust System comes complete with fully detailed installation instructions and mounting hardware, and can be easily installed by the weekend mechanic using only simple hand tools. This exhaust system uses the original hanger positions and rubber grommets – simply unbolt and remove the original system from your Miata and you’re ready to install the Racing Beat system! A positioning template is provided to assist with the cutting of the new opening for the additional outlet tip. The new opening can be cut through the soft urethane bumper material using only a small utility knife, or by using a small hobby-type grinding too. A small sanding block is then required to smooth out the opening to the final shape.
